About Good Shepherd School Akkulam Trivandrum

The School of Good Shepherd affiliated to The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was started in 2002 at Pettah as a co-education school attached to the Good Shepherd Kindergarten. The School at Lakeside Akkulam, Trivandrum is situated on a panoramic hill slope by the side of the Akkulam Lake, a beauty spot with in the city limits and just a kilometre away from the famous children's Park at Akkulam and from the Kazhakoottam - Kovalam bypass Road. The CBSE accorded affiliation to the School in January 2007 (Code No.930703). Students to Standard IX were admitted during the Year 2007-2008. The very first batch of 25 Std. X students appeared for the Board Examination in 2008-2009 and produced result of Cent percent pass. Affiliation to the senior Secondary level was obtained in April 2009 and Std. XI was started in 2009.

The School is owned and managed by The Good Shepherd Educational Trust (GSET) formed by highly educated individuals genuinely interested in providing value based quality education.
